Occupational Medicine and Health and Safety.

This is organised and provided in accordance with Portuguese and EEC law, which require all Companies to have a programme of Occupational Medical Services.

Our services include

  •  Medical examinations at the time of starting Employment, subsequent, regular Periodic examinations, and Occasional examinations to create and maintain for each Employee in the Company updated Certificates of Fitness to Work.

  •  All consultations for Occupational Medicine.

  •  Evaluation of the conditions of Health & Safety in the Company.

  •  Studies of the Environment and Illumination to evaluate the risk of exposure to physical agents for our Clients or for others who may require this service.

  •  Internal investigations, recommendations and training.

  •  All the required administration, organisation, and annual reports.

  •  Capacity to take blood, collect urine, and perform ECGs, and other tests in-situ within the Company, to avoid Employees having to lose time in having these done outside of the Company.

 

General Practice Medicine and Check-ups.

Although these services are not required by law, they can be offered to Employees to benefit and improve health, and the quality of performance within the Company.

There are various options:

  •  General Medical consultations or medical assistance to Employees on Company premises. These would principally be to treat simple general medical problems, write prescriptions, give medical certificates as required, and give general medical advice concerning good health habits and practices.

  •  "Check-ups” of various types or protocols, both simple or more complete.
    General medical services for Employees and their families in our Clinic in Lisbon, at negotiable special prices.
